We are currently looking for people for the following positions:


IT Solution Architect

  • Consulting position with engagements typically in the 1 to 2 years range
  • Dallas and Chicago area clients – must be local candidates
  • Perform the necessary leadership, analysis and design tasks related to the development of large-scale enterprise solution architectures.
  • Design and lead the implementation of solution architectures based on requirements and IT strategies.
  • Consult with application and infrastructure teams as necessary to develop the architecture.
  • Document all solution architecture design and analysis work.
  • Work closely with the project managers to ensure alignment of architectural tasks.
  • Note: This is not an application architect or a developer position. This position does not involve development or directly leading developers.
  • Absolutely must be self-motivated and hardworking. Only apply if you are part of the “A” team and make things happen versus letting others take the lead!
  • Must have good, easy to understand English verbal skills. As a solution architect, you will need to lead many meetings in person and on conference calls.
  • You must have the ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical individuals and executive management.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a solution architect.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a solution architect in the architecture organization of a large company. (Company must have had a dedicated architecture organization and you must have been a member of it.)
  • Minimum 10 years of overall IT industry experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of insurance or financial company experience
  • Significant past experience as a programmer or infrastructure engineer.
  • BS degree in computer science or engineering
  • Strong understanding of the following:
  • Network architecture
  • Application development methodologies
  • SOA
  • Object-oriented analysis and design
  • Client/server systems
  • Modeling notations including UML, ArchiMate, and SysML
  • Enterprise architecture frameworks (such as TOGAF)
  • Data modeling and/or object-relationship modeling experience
  • You will need to provide references and sample work products and part of the interview process.
